Plastic injection moulding is a popular manufacturing process whereby plastic products can be mass-produced in a time and cost-efficient manner. The process works by injecting molten plastic into a pre-designed mould at high pressure and heat. The molten plastic then fills the hollow mould before cooling rapidly and setting in the desired shape.
